Development Team

Sue Kelly

Sue Kelly has been a top-producing Broker with Real Estate One since 1984.  Coming from a family of contractors it was a natural transition into Real Estate and in 1998 she bought and developed Country Eden Condominiums. From real estate sales, development and management, the family business of client service is at the very center her life work. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her professional work and has served on many non-profit and educational boards.

Max Strickland

Max Strickland (consulting partner) is recognized as the leading high performance and green building expert in northern Michigan. A native of Traverse City, he worked as a construction supervisor for over three decades and as a materials supplier before that. His company, Strickland High Performance Building Consulting, has provided expert service for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional clients over the last two decades. He has a number of high performance building and verifier certifications, and has presented at numerous local, regional and national conferences on high performance building. He has also provided volunteer services to Habitat for Humanity building program, the Homebuilders Association of the Grand Traverse area Green Build committee, and the American Lung Association Health House project.

Dan Paulson

Dan Paulson has been licensed as a builder for almost fifty years, specializing in unique energy efficient structures throughout the eastern United States. He is the developer of Cedar Valley Ridge, an award-winning and nationally recognized ecologically innovative development. He was dean of the Jordan College Energy Institute at a time when it hosted the only bachelor's degree program in renewable energy and energy efficient technologies in the US. He has served as consultant and resource for developments, non profit organizations, and educational programs.
